Degenerate Tournament Gambling

Everyone loves a tournament arc.

I wanted to enable betting on a tournament in hell that was part of my regular D&D sessions.

The degenerate 5e Tournament Betting App takes in procedural odd creation and allows players to bet on one of the two opponents. Once the odds are generated you can roll off with a best of 3 utilising the the modifiers selected.

All the payout calculations is done for you once you input the bet amounts and the winner.

After live testing, I was asked to rubber band the odds so you didn't get 49:1 odds, which could ruin the local economy far worse than any economancer.

Future improvements would be:

• Player input of bets
• Randomised modifiers
• Bot battles (auto resolve the tournament)
